One night, Shuu met the fox spirit Tomoe. In order to become a goddess, she must subdue the ‘tatari’ (curses) which devour all. Shuu’s hometown of Kanbe has been struck by these curses since some time, and despite the efforts of Tomoe and the half-youkai Kasumi, their numbers have only increased. Now Shuu’s kouhai Shion has also become targeted by them. In order to protect his hometown and those precious to him, Shuu joined the fight against the tatari.
